Im working mainly in Maya. but currently trying to export a displacement map from zbrush, to render in Maya. Im using maya software, and successfully managed to make a other displacement map made in photoshop. But when im trying to use the one i exported from zbrush, the result turns out like the one in the attached image. I tried to change the alpha gain and alpha offset, and there is changes, but nowhere near where its suppose to be. So does anyone know what im doing wrong here?
Im thinking there is something wrong in the zbrush settings, but i have no idea…
annyone know whats the problem with this displacement map?

its suppose to look pretty square, but with some deformations. Its suppose to be stones going along a sidewalk…
