Hi

  1. I see some nice overlap in the spine and head, thats nice. But sometimes I feel that the overlap is too excessive, you don’t always have to bend the head as if its a bobble head.

  2. Your legs exhibit too much twining, try offsetting them to have a better silhouette. You did have a nice silhouette in mid jump, but you landed on both feet, and you are back to boring silhouettes again. (see picture) Try landing with one foot, and see how that works out for you.

The last thing I want to mention is a simple squash/stretch principle (see picture)

Keep Animating!

Thanks for sending me a feedback so cool. His criticism was very important and will help me a lot. I tried to correct everything you said, but correcting it is harder to do lol. The change was subtle, but already had significant improvements. Heart was not encouraged and a couple of years, with help like yours … It motivates me to continue. My English must be half bad as it is translated by Google Translator lol. Thanks, hope you enjoyed the review.

Your welcome.
Try getting the book: “Animators Survival Kit” if you haven’t already.
Animators have a set of vocabulary that we use to illustrate different principles. I used the words “silhouette” and “twining” in my previous post, so I hope thats coming across to you through google translate clearly.
