Great anticipation but you can slow down the entire thing. Also isn’t his windup winding the opposite way? It would seem natural to spin the ball the other direction. If you try slowing this animation down, have a moving hold on the pose before he chucks the ball, and keep that moving hold 20 frames longer. Good job so far BTW.

thanks for the feed back, i’ll work on it

Very cool and a good improvement. The wind-up looks correct; at least to me it does. I think a full animation with this kind of motion would look pretty great especiall with the way you character currently moves.

Hi Joefu!
When the guy takes a step the body weight needs to be over the leg that is planted on the ground.
The screen right hand does not look like its connected to the body, it just kinda hangs there and moves when ever it feels like (I suggest changing that arm to FK)
I would also suggest having a look at some reference videos of someone throwing a ball with a wind up and paying close attention to what happens to the body when the arm is swinging around.
Also pay attention to how different body parts transition from one pose to another, especially the ease in and ease out.

hi there
Nice act, but you need to focus more on balance, energy and etc…
I can notice these:
-re edit the arch of rotating hand when the body is back (before throwing)

  • give some More pre-energy of throwing by : 1-pull back the hand right before throwing, 2-put some stop time, right before throwing
  • give it some Exaggerate by More slowing down on slow part and More fast by the fast parts, and also on your Extreme poses, make the body some more stretched that Audience feel more reserving energy on body and also releasing it…
  • on final edit, you need to re look on your arcs and take away breaking arcs and give it some smooth motion
    good luck
