animation format for internet browsering

i have a demo reel about 8 minutes , i want to put it on the you tube or my web site
let every seee from the internet . which amination file format shoud i use
i want every could see them and need not wait too much time but sitll keep general good
quality and which composition tools could dot it thank you very much

Please read the requirements page on YouTube (or Vimeo, if you are looking for quality). It’s all explained there. for your own web page - FLV or Quicktime H.264. 8 minutes is far too long for a online reel, though. it should be no more than 3 minutes.
