Hi, im soon about to make my first 3d character for a game, and im reading that quads needs to be turned into triangles in games. But the thing is, i just dont understand how that wont disrupt the animation? Could anyone please give me some information about this? If i need to considder something in advance. And im guessing in this case that triangulation needs to be done after animation??
Any information would be very helpfull.

everything get tessellated to tirs its how the engine is able to draw the polygons well it how our engine works here, im not sure what program you are using but if you triangulate an soften the normals you shouldn’t have to worry about it now if the points are not wielded then your goin to see seems.
At least it is how this is where i work may not apply to all.
