animation cache error

#1

Hi all,

I am rendering a 400 frame shot using LW’s new radiocity cache, however I am finding that the animation cache doesnt seem to be calculating radiocity correctly (or at least anywhere near the same as a single still render cache) I wonder if anybody can help or point out where I or the software may be going wrong?

I have attached 2 images for comparision, one being a frame from the animated cache render and one which is a single frame still , as you may be able to see there is vertical banding where the radiocity is not calculating correctly.

I should add i am using Render Q with baking turned on for the naimated render run.

My settings are:

Monte Carlo
Intensity:100
Indirect Bounces: 4
RPE:200
Secondary bounced rays: 40
Angular Tol: 0 (and tried 90 with same error)
Min pix spaceing: 2
Max pix spacing: 100
Multiplyer:50
Preprocess: always

thanks!
