I have just finished my exam project done in collaboration with Saab automobile. The aim for the project was to design a vehicle for a future film with the identity and values of the company Saab.

I really like the style of this animation. The style of the character fits nicely with the vehicle. Nice character movement and camera work. I also checked out your website, some really cool stuff there. My favorite are shorts with the robot.
hey thanks guys, glad you liked it. i didnt have as mutch time as i wated doing the character movements, so they are kind of stiff in my opinion but i guess its always like that, time, give me more time, at least 30 h/day.
i love the 3rd pic. what kind of light set up did you use for that hall is you dont mind me asking?

thanks da_rock21, the lighting setup is pretty sraight forward, nothing fancy. i think i had 3 directional lights, one with shadows pointing almost straight down and the two others facing the sides of the buildings. and some volume lights at the pillars coming down along the sidewalk.
Nice lighting, nice BG, nice models. I think more work could of been spent ont the animation esp the walk cycle at the start.
But very nice stuff 
In terms of style and sheer “coolness” it wins me over. Just a bit more intelligent editing to trim it down a little and try to get the animation to a decent level as it does put some people off, no matter how mutch nice “glowy shiny things” are on the screen.
