Animated spiral in combustion?

Hi,
any ideas how I could animate a spiral starting at the centre? What I have in mind is an explosion (fireworks) thats shaped as a spiral. Can’t really come up with a reasonable solution that doesn’t involve doing it frame by frame (I’m sure there has to be an easier solution). Thanks for help!

Use expressions. Select the X and Y axies in Timeline and click in Expression browser, select Spiral or other preset.
