Animals going round in circles

Hi friends,

We have been working on a clip where we are to show many animals dancing around a central subject making rounds.

There are many animals. In general linear motion we can use walk cycles to reduce repetitive work but here going in circles we are not able to figure out how to possibly use the walk cycle/dance cycle.

Any hints/ideas would be most welcome
