Introduction
Hi guys!
I've been into digital painting for the last seven years or so. I don't work in the industry and I have no formal training, but I've learned a lot on the way - some when I've previously kept sketchbook threads here. If you're interested in my digital paintings and drawings, you can [go to my dA gallery](http://vilhelmina.deviantart.com/gallery/).
In this thread I'll be occupying myself with something else - namely, my newly acquired interest for 3D art! It's really gotten to me these past few days - to a point where I find it slightly crazy I haven't realized before this is so much fun! (But then again, that's probably because on some level I wasn't ready yet.)
So far the software I'm using is Sculptris (free software owned by Pixologic, similar to Zbrush) and Blender (but to be honest I and Blender's user interface don't agree yet. At all. I need to find some good tutorials and / or another piece of software.).

From a sphere. I had very little idea what I was doing, just trying to get to know the tools etc. I’m quite fond of the view from below though!

This one looks a little less rough. Also I started to figure out the sculpting tools.
Here’s a closeup;

So it begins.
