As a visual fx rookie, would you say it would be worthwhile to learn mudbox? Zbrush too?

Fantastic model you have there!

HEY…Siju…

He’s looking FANTASTIC…Maybe just a little hint of those muscles that run parallel on eather side of the spine,…erectus something or other…the two muscles that alow you to stand erect…like he’s doing…located in the lower back area… just a thought…
REALLY LIKE what you’ve done with the wrist and hands…:bounce:

HEY,…on a different subject…:scream: …Have you seen the movie called…BLACK…by…Amitabh Bachchan…yash raj films…home entertainment…I got it from the library, and watched it last night…FANTASTIC piece of film making…BEST movie that I have seen in a long long long time…HOLLYWOOD BETTER WATCH OUT…INDIA FILM MAKING HAS COME OF AGE I THINK…:scream:
TAKE CARE MY FRIEND, and watch that film if you haven’t already…

Very cool to see this Siju, it will be interesting to see how you develop it. The feet seem a bit oversized atm? Perhaps the head could be a smidge larger. Will definitely be following along here as I make my own fledgling sculpting efforts.

#364

Great to see you’re joining the fxphd team Siju!

#365

Thanks Martin!:)!I hope i’m able to do justice to it:)

#366

updates on pose sculpt.

#367

Daaamn! No words to describe how astonishing this looks  Love the expression (a close-up, mm?). Your great anatomy knowledge shows here. I like the pose, but what exactly is he doing?
And it happens that I’m sculpting at this moment myself. What an awesome thing to see this to keep me going

#368

dude

it’s when seeing stuff like this I regret not having a photographic memory
I can almost feel the tension on some of those muscles!

#369

WOW… Siju… this looks awesome! Did you start by posing the same sculpture at level-0… or did you start from scratch?

#370

hey siju!

think i’m next in line to praise your work. it’s just fantastic.

A face sculpt done in mudbox

#377

Well you’ve gotten insane with mudbox! That is, of course, good  The finished figure sculpt look really good, I don’t even have to say that, it’s obvious, hehe. You could render it with SSS just for the fun of it.
Couldn’t find a thing to crit on the face either. Oh, is it just me, or the eyes are really 2d? Nevertheless, looking great. Looking forward to more of these! And don’t forget to draw or paint something too

#378

razz,Im lazy the eyes are a quick paintover.Have to learn to do it better.
Sculpture is the most fun

#379

I assume these sculpted models are quite high poly and are demanding a lot from a pc, Siju?

#380

HI…Siju…

SEEMS THAT YOU HAVE COME TO A CROSSROADS.
Sculpture to painting,…painting to sculpture …hybreds…
Looking forward to seeing which path you choose…
Maybe both paths creat a circle …:scream:
