Lol Glenn, painting! Im a sculptor and a draughtsman not a painter (like Michelangelo said)

thanks for the da vinci comparison, Im sure all thoise hours practising from da vinci and Michelangelo would have rubed off a bit:scream:.

Richa thanks:), I met your teacher Tezi in southex.

Amar thanks ,ya ur welcome to use it.

Gord,thanks:thumbsup:,
the base mesh a very very simple affair was done in maya then it was taken into
Mudbox.

This is from a base mesh done by Arshlevon back at mudbox forums ,I recommend all who have zbrush or mudbox and dont know polymodeling in maya, max or xsi to take this route of using a simple base mesh and sculpting from there.

#358

Wow dude, I don’t even know what to say
amazing work here

Now that’s an impressive looking man. Is he going to be wearing pants? His lack of a genitals is a little scary looking. He is a bit symmetric though, I don’t think I have ever seen a person with mirrored veins. This mudbox looks fantastic, although I dunno if its worth it for me at least when zbrush 3.0 comes out.

#360

I think breaking symmetry goes at the very end of the modelling job. I would only make the thighs more massive, too thin now, I think. Love the overall looks of the model. I think I’ll be doing a 3d anatomy study too, just a bit different from this. So this is of great inspiration to me!
Are you thinking of texturing him? Posing? What’s next when the model is finished?
