Hiā¦Sijuā¦
A lot of great head studiesā¦good to see you experimenting with different tools along the way.
A ton of pens in that painter program to try outā¦would be interesting I think, , to see you try all of them out on one head study,ā¦Mixed pen media studyā¦
ā¦just a thoughtā¦
ā¦HAVE A GREAT DAY ā¦Sijuā¦and keep up the great and inspiring workā¦![]()

Go Siju go!
I wonder what a rendering (traditionally or digitally) without hatchmarks might look like from you. It might be an interesting experiment.
Cheers,
~Rebeccak
Glenn Thanks My friend:),

Becca, Earlier in my practise I did do a lot of tonal renders! but Nowadays I prefer crosshatching because its faster !I am a very Impatient dude:)!
However Im adding some semi hatched drawings for u:thumbsup:.
my head count stands at 32 now.

Hey there :wavey:
WOW! so many great heads!! and a great thead to browse, such talent and wonderful drawings and paintings too
loved the way you gave head #64 a slightly ⦠well almost mischivous expression - way cooler than the sad eyes from original. Keep it up and will be back soon again!
cheers
a.
HEYā¦Sijuā¦:bounce: :applause:

Looks like you finally took the leap from pen to paint brushā¦in the creation of formā¦
Titian didnāt take that leap until he was an old man, and it was after he took the leap,
that he produced his finest ā¦PAINTINGSā¦
Next stepā¦colorā¦ ā¦very limited pallet at firstā¦maybe a dark dark red gray purpleā¦
a mid brown yellow, and an off white to creat highlighted areas when mixed with the golds created when you mix the purple and yellow.
Use the same aproach as you did on the last two heads, except try it with a limited color palletā¦working from dark to light, and then from light to dark,ā¦starting out in the mid
range or toneā¦working back and forth, from dark to light, and then light to darkā¦carving the forms out , and into the atmosphereā¦

GREAT to see you mastering that brush by the wayā¦![]()
Canāt wait to see where it leads you toā¦

Chris ! thanks for the warm words dude:)! I am glad u like my hatching! I worked many years on gettin it right, still workin :),on gettin it better!
Glenn, Lol brush strokes attract u like a moth to a flame:)! I think Iām sort of on my way,
like u said I need to work on some limited color pallettes initially!
Take care:)
Hey T! Long time no see! I see you have lots of very nice heads around here! Glad iāve stepped by! The last on- the PS sketch - i think it has too small arms⦠But if it is a WIP, i take it back!
I had exams and i had no time to check on the last updatesā¦
+ some personal projects and outside requests, and i havenāt forgot about the one with Glenās castle
But iāll catch up with everything as soon as possible.
Best wishes!
Icey
:)Yo Icey! grt to see you man! The arms look short bcuz the elbows are outside! Its not a wip :).
