Anatomy Thread of Rebecca Kimmel

#21

Martin,

ROFL…thanks for the gentle prodding.

#22

Now of course you’re expected to update this thread (and a sketchbook thread on conceptart.org) every second day. :wip:

#23

Great stuff! Nice to see so many master reference studies. I agree, keep erilaz, we expect updates!

#24

Hi Rebbeca
Haha I didn’t expect you to create your own thread but its great :applause: and Wow you have a lot of great works here … now that reminds me I have to work harder dammit … but don’t worry I have a plan …
And as others said … post updates  sometimes you should take a break from hanging on forums and draw something … hehe

Wow Rebecca, I have to say I am really impressed by that collage work. The butterfly, that necklace, just the way the whole thing fits together - so lovely. I’ve never really done a photoshop collage before, but that might just have inspired me

#26

I really like the last landscape! It´s my favourite image from your thread. And the first one is not bad concept at all. It would be great to see more of your landscapes in future :).

#27

Martin,

Eek! :)

Vidar3d,

Thank you! :) Eek! Now I'm accountable! :D

Slux,

Thank you! Lol...you're right. ;) Well, hopefully I'll get the chance after the Workshop. Seeing everyone's cool work is almost as fun though! :)

Elsie,

Thanks so much! Nice to see you on the forum ~ I have to say, your old avatar + the Mwe he he sometimes made me lol! :scream: Hmm...any chance of seeing your work on the forum soon? :)

raptor|3D,

Thanks a lot! :) I love landscapes ~ really kind of miss doing them. They give you lots of freedom to experiment stylistically without worrying about 'messing up' a figure or a pose. It's definitely nice to do a freeform landscape every now and then, particularly if you've been doing something more rendered. :)

Thanks guys. :)

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

Hehe, you think I should bring back Boo? I certainly hope I’ll have something postworthy soon now that I’ve got my new computer back…just everything seems to have leaked out of my head in the three month absence >_< nooo!

Am honestly very inspired by those collages though…ordering a new corset with my overdraft so once I’ve got that I might be able to do reference pics for some sort of victorian piece…Impressive pen work on the first page too by the way.

#29

Nah, i kinda like the “evil eyebrow” Elsie.

#30

It’s about time that you made this.
You forced me to make mine so it was time for you to make one also lol.
This is great.
Nice work.
Keep ot up.

#31

Ah! FINALLY, I also get the chance to express my admiration. Your collages are my favorite, from the very first moment I saw them. More, more, please! :applause:

#32

Absolutely excellent Rebecca, especially the ballpoint pen anatomy drawings, love those.

Sorry it has been a while since I have posted but I am busy getting a new class prepared for next term. I will post soon.

All My Best To You, Rebecca,

Kyle

orgasm!!

#34

Whatever…

Rebecca, great drawings. I sometimes wonder what parts they really are but obviously they’re not half fly so… :stuck_out_tongue:

I really love how well you shade them all, perfectly readable and still half recognisable sometimes. Great skill and insight, I love it.

I’m gonna get myself a sketchbook too. :o

#35

That was amazing Rebecca. :open_mouth:

#36

Hey guys, thanks a lot!

@Elsie,
