Magdalena, thanks. I’ll keep that in mind. I believe I had this problem for quite some time now

Annette, thank you! Glad you like what you see.

System, thanks. Reminds me I should be doing more still lifes. But trying to keep my stuff figurative and not stray too far. Ahh, there’s not time for everything.

Some stuff.
Wanted to have a welcome page, haha. Stufy after you should recognise who.

Something I’ve done some time ago, never got to painting these. Will do that…next year. After Richard Schmid.

Little cloth study, photo refed.

Great studies, lovely sweater on the last one. And the tomato is real :applause:

#1403

#1404

hey how r you?i see you’v improvements by leaps n bounds.keep up the ref studies n other good stuff :buttrock:

#1405

Hey Razz - great to see your latest work, and as usual you continue improve exponentially! I really like that last character you painted, and not just because it’s a shirtless guy  - the loose brushwork is really nice, colors very vivid and compelling. And that tomato from life is incredibly realistic. Great stuff!

#1406

Sirielle, thanks! Glad you like it!

Magdalena, thank you, lady!

Killermachine, thanks! All is good

Ceruleanvii, hey, great to know you like it. I do need to work much more from imagination though.

Now a little study from a movie screenshot. I’ll do some more of those to try out different techniques.

Less than a week until Italy, whoo!!

#1407

LOOKING GOOD…RAZZZZZZZ…:applause:  …ITALY…:bounce:

I hope you will still post your works and progress in here, while your in school over there.
I’m really looking forward to seeing it.
Don’t worry too much about your imagination, it has a mind of it’s own, and it’s spirit will reveal itself in it’s own time, and when you least expect it to…

TAKE CARE RAZZ, and BEST OF LUCK in that school…You’ll do GREAT, and learn GREAT THINGS about yourself, and your art while your there,…i’m sure of it…
Glenn

#1408

I loved the cloth study, really good.

#1409

Glenn, huge thanks! Yes, I should still be posting updates once I’m there as I should have internet access in the flat I’ll be living in. Guess you’re right about the imagination, but I still need to practise using it. Thanks for the encouragement. As always, it’s a pleasure to have you in here.

Eklectique, thank you!

A little study after Zhanglu.

I bought Dan Dos Santos’ DVD, quite a bargain with the sales going on there now. It was an eye opener for me and I still have a few hours of it to watch. Now I’ve changed my mind and taking the oil paints with me to Italy, yay!

#1410

Great study!
hehe Dan’s DVD’s great I agree  I’ve got quite inspired by it and by his little [there were like 10 people there] presentation I went to at the World Con last month… so much so I signed up for at the only local ARC approved atelier  Just got my Barque book last week too. Gosh I’m jelous of your going to Florence, though  Have fun!! When do you begin?

#1411

Magdalena, thank you. Wow, you’ve gotten into drawing quite a bit  That is great to hear. Looking forward to seeing your atelier stuff and Bargue copies! I’ll begin my studies on the 28th of September, if I remember correctly. Can’t wait!

Well, I’m leaving in several hours, so I guess the next time I write you guys is when I’m in Italy. Until then!

#1412

So exciting! Have a wonderful time!

#1413

Oh man! It sounds like you’re taking a seat in a rollercoaster…
It’s great to hear you’ll be able to wonder around there for another 2 weeks to start with
Hoping to hear and see from you soon!

#1414

Have fun razz - waiting anxiously to hear about your impressions

#1415

Ok, guys, not so good news from me. I’ve got a really slow internet so it would take forever to upload any images. I think I’ll save myself from all the trouble and be gone until the middle of December. Sorry everyone. Until Christmas!

#1416

Have fun razz!

#1417

Have a great time at school, razz, I’m sure it’s going to be an amazing experience! I’m very much looking forward to seeing what you do!

#1418

shame no net - then again it’ll probably proove a blessing in disguise - leaving all the time for discovery and wonderful experiences  Looking forward to the Christmas report

#1419

**** it! I can’t be without you guys  I got myself different kind of internet, still slow, but hopefully will be enough. Excuses for saying that, then this again, but hey, smile

Here we go. Frazetta.

The bad thing is that I don’t have a scanner, so I’ll have to find a way how to make the photos of my drawings look good enough. But that on the other update.

#1420

Ok, as it was said, no scanner, so forgive the poor quality.
Bit of a pain to upload but it’s possible.
