I did that face modeling and it’s my first one though. For now, it doesn’t look that much like a female character. I think there’s something wrong with her nose, ears, mouth and chin.
Please help me out!

qpixelz,
Hey there, what are you using as reference? If you can post that here, I think it would help.
Check out this thread, which contains a link to some excellent reference resources:

From a first glance, it looks to me that they eyes are small for the other features. I might suggest moving the lips upward a bit, and also lifting the mouth into more of a neutral expression since atm the mouth is in a frown. The edges of the nose are a bit sharp. I think she needs more room at the top of the head as well. It would also be helpful if you posted side and a perspective view as well.
Finally, you are more likely to get feedback if I move your thread to the Personal Sketchbook Forum. I am happy to move and rename your thread to that area if you wish, though it is not necessary.
Cheers,

Is it just me or is the bottom of the eye part a little too edgy? The over part is pretty round and smoothed.
Hi,
Well first thing to note, try to use a lot less poly’s, it’ll be a ton easier for you to work on the model with less verts to move around. It looks like you’ve got way too big of a concentration on the top lip, the bottom of the nose area going across the cheeks(which is causing a pinching effect), and the top of the nose.
This is a good start however, it will take you some time/practice to learn how to get it to look all right. You should look up some tutorials online to see how the topology can go to be cleaner & easier to manage.
First of all great to see you try a human - it’s the hardest thing to get right so no worries
It’s a good start - you got them mesh loops right, which is not easy for beginners … I think it’s way too heavy at the mo and you could reduce the polycount… no point starting with high res modeling without defining the shapes… you can go on more details once you have the base right…
the basic mistake the beginning modelers make [been there trust me :D] is flattening the face and pulling everything to the front [which is natural if you’re working from just side and front view references] - this makes the character look as if they were hit with a frying pan
…
keep checking your mesh from top and bottom views as well as 3/4s to get all the angles right…
here’s a small picture I’ve made for someone else with one of my old models, which is far from perfect
- hope it gives you a rough idea of what the angles should be like…

I’m appreciated c&c of you guys, they’re very encouraging me to learn and improve. I think it’s a good challenge for me to do something harder than I have expected as a beginner.
btw, I made some change last night, increased the size of the eyes, ears, reduced some edges around the mouth. I have trouble with her month and the outside part of it. Her chin doesn’t look rounded right though.

looking much better…
the loops would be better like the ones I drew on for ya…
the lips: - upper lip always goes over the lower one - in the corner that is… so try to push the lower lip underneath it, more inside the model
eyes - same as lips - the lower eyelid goes underneath the upper one in the corner… take a mirror and check it out
the ear: is always flash with the face at the connection point not sticking out like a separate object
finally - side view - move everything more towards the back - I mean the eyes, nose, mouth so you have that triangle from top view… just take a lattice and push the side parts back…
