Scooter - Yeah, I know… that’s the good thing about freelancing, at least you get paid for it.

Michel,Lolo, Diego - Good to know I’m not alone … sometimes it seems so strange that everyone thinks that making the images or design is the only part in a project that doesn’t require time planned.
My boss is also the writer for most my designjobs - a wonderful situation :rolleyes:

Beckie - good morning! :wavey: I have sent the concept sketches for the freelance gig, and will have comments and hopefully a go-ahead next week. I think I understood the topic after some studying, we’ll see.

So, finally I’ve opened my project again - here are all the organs collected and placed, now only remains veins and arterys + of course Venus herself… I’ll skip bladder and ovarys etc. since I don’t intend to open her up that low - at least that’s the plan for today. I might have to do the final comp in PS - I don’t exactly know how to solve a well controled transparency in ZB…yet.

Beckie - thanks, and yes - I still haven’t figured out how to get rid of the hard edges in ZB … will need to go through the rendering chapter. But it will be more efficient to comp in PS anyway… whenever that day comes :slight_smile:

Alan - Hi there! haha, you find it a strange idea? I’m trying to make some stuff for my medical portfolio… glad you like it!

Yes, it’s all painted in ZB. It’s interesting to see how different apps invites you to do different kind of work - I don’t think I ever would have done something like this in MAX… and if I would it would have taken much longer. It’s both fun and a bit frustrating to discover that it’s the app thats steer me instead of the other way around :smiley:
I suppose it’s all a matter of choosing the right app for each task.

You don’t really want to see my attempts in a whole thread yet, believe me…:scream:

My progress with the human anatomy is poor, but whensoever I see regular work is not going on, I make a visit in the local zoo, so I’ve gathered a lot of animal sketches:D …If I find some time, I want to refine them to improve my painting skills…so the best in the next time I could show is my little zoo:blush:…so it’s better for me to spam Gunilla’s great work here!

Sabrina - thank you! Yes, that is the idea - at least some. I’ve made some tests with stencil painting for this - ZB crashes a lot with this so I have’t solved it yet… perhaps I will do som PS work here. And as for the fish texture - it’s really fun to be able to paint textures without the pain of UnWrapping!

Beckie - I wonder that too :slight_smile:

Laurent - haha. the snail brush is in constant use I assure you! And yes, I’m surprised as how fun I find this - as I said it invites me to play in a way that I didn’t expect… it maight be long before I do a finished piece!
