Nice start to your OFDW piece ~ you should feel free to post your WIPs to the OFDW thread as well.
Cheers,

Hi…Guagua…![]()
Like that painting your working on…colors …GREAT …would be a good one to try out some
of the oil brushes in PAINTER #9 on…impasto maybe, here and there, just to give it a little
variety of brushwork…good chance to experiment, and add to your technique…I agree with
Rebecca, you should post your painting in OFDW the forum she mentioned…a lot of great talent there. I am sure everyone there will help you take your painting technique to it’s full potental…![]()
Also I want to THANK YOU for your help with my Z BRUSH problems…I will try what you just told me right now, and will post something tonight, useing the information and help you just gave me…THANKS AGAIN…Guagua…

Trunks,thanks for stopping by:)
Hi…Guagua…
Just stopping by your thread to see if there is anything new…really like the feel of that
master copy that you just did …can really get a sense of the heat in it…GREAT JOB on
the figure, and the whole painting …nice brush work and color…![]()
Did not see it on that finished painting section that Rebecca posted…you might want to mention that to her…she probably just overlooked it…
HAVE YOU DONE ANYMORE …BORIS STUDIES…or Z BRUSH studies…would really like to see them if you have…![]()

Wow, nice work. The head look great, a bit more work on the shader, the beard and hair not just the texture and you’ll have a freakin nice looking low poly head! Is it for some personal project? Planning to animate? Tell us more, please
And, how many polys are there now?
The study from Frank Frazetta is astonishing. The one thing that really bothers me is the writing! Other than that, great! Looks really cool.
You should post your work more often, it’s really something to look at and enjoy.
HEY…Guagua…WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN…
Really miss seeing your work…you LAZY TOAD …LOL…

GREAT Frazetta study, and also Z BRUSH head study…![]()
WAITING FOR …MORE…:bounce: ![]()
TAKE CARE MY FRIEND

It’s been a long time I haven’t posted anything, play online games do waste a lot of time,I think need more exercise, here is my recent self-challenge,the concept art was downloaded from warhammer 40K,the result is not 100% match the concept, and lack something i think it’s “strength”.
the original concept art

head modeling in Mudbox

the IBL rendering of the head

point view of the hand

and the whole body

I always admire great concept arts, those artists are so talent and skillful.
today I start my new self-challenge,the character is sanguo hero Zhang Fei,I’ll post the progress often.
