Héhé… nice to see you started a Anat Thread Laeticia…
and with this head already well started…
Maybe it’s not easy to give much good advices about his face… certainly the neck is too much unprecise, too much as mud… the part between the nostrills and lips need to be refined, less rounded… ear seem too big… even if men with large ears exists, especially visible in this case because the top of ears is upper than eyes.
it’s all for the moment… I prefer to wait more work on details, to judge with something less smoothed… with details more visible… it’s a snap made in ZB ?
Good continuation on it miss :wise:
Welcome flaeticia! Great to see you join the Anatomy Forum.
There are some really great 3D Anatomy Threads around - of course Steph, Lolo and Gunilla and Sabrina, but also Intervain, anandpg, Thomasphoenix, claybub, and plunq to name a few - definitely check these threads out, plunq is doing facial features at the moment and his thread is definitely worth a look!
If I may offer a bit of a critique, the bridge of the nose seems a bit wide - and the chin perhaps a bit small, it might need a bit more structure. Your 3D skills are amazing though, I’ve seen your other work - and so I definitely look forward to seeing how your organic modeling develops here!
Cheers,
-Rebeccak

Awesome you finally joined the anat forum …
The head is already looking great but there’s something I’m wondering :
Maya for modeling … Zb for detailling … and Max for ?
Anyway I’m looking forward to see what develops here
cheers ,

well i like it actually, but there are some anathomy flaws ( imo ) … The ear is missplaced ( way too much on the back of the head ) and the yaw is not correct … check my little rework thats how i would fix it

The Jaw line could use some more work. The arc of the Jaw is a bit severe for the head and looks odd. The back of the Jaw should be lowered a bit The eyelids could be more defined since they lack the creases that are there. The ears may be off, I can’t quite tell from this angle. The mouth is too small width wise, the edge of the lips tend to line up with the pupil of the eyes. Otherwise its pretty good.
Lol at the singing birds.
Hi Laeticia! great start to your anatomy thread!:applause: Have you gone thru Joel Mongeon(Plung)'s anatomy thread? I think you will greatly benifit from practicing individual facial features like he is doing. I am planning to do the same as soon as my current WIP is finished.
I second anand’s suggestion!
I think plunq / Joel is doing a great thing by going feature by feature, allowing him to get a great deal of detail. Definitely check out his thread!
Hey flaeticia nice to see more lasses doing 3d
I’d say give the man defined eyelids
and the ears are flash with the face at the juncture point… looking forward to more development…
