if Santhosh had not said that before me - I would have said exactly the same now
I love the way you draw the portraits, loose and clean - nice!

Hey Anand,

I’m a little envy to see your sketches:hmm: , it seems to be so effortless for you to catch the essence of a figure with just a few well set lines:bowdown: . No surprise that your modeling is so clean and to the point…

I see you still continue to impress here! Some beautiful sketches, the way you make cloth look like cloth with some strokes are really nice. And your demo reel is amazing! A real treat to watch, thanks.

Hey Alena! Thanks for the kind words!

heheh!! Kiran! Actually I am sleeping much more than I should now-a-days! Haven’t sculpted anything in weeks! :frowning:

Hey Sabrina! Thanks! you are too kind

Pencil sketches look Beautiful !

#953

Hi xsiyou!! Thanks a lot!

Finally decided to shake off my laziness and sit down and sculpt! Continued from “The Pensioner” a few pages back… sculpted the clerk a little bit…(lost my ZBrush serial number due to my supernatural stupidity, so I am using a Mudbox trial until they send me the number again! I’ve got used to ZBrush, but Mudbox still feels good!:))

#954

Hey Anand, great sketches! I’m so used to long poses now that doing quick sketches like yours seems impossibly hard

Glad to see you working on a sculpt again. Nothing to crit as everything at this early stage looks fine. I like how you are now working on a contemporary piece. Do you have any goals for what the finished will look like or will you just see when you are there?

#955

beautiful sketches.
top post, second sketch…Is that guy is Roshan ? And in last post …he is Divij ?

#956

Hi Anand, I admire your quick sketching technique! You are able to convey a lot in such a short amount of time. Your 3D sculpture is looking good. Keep it up!

It’s nice to see you drawing, Anand. Especially when you’re doing it outside, really great. Would love to do that myself but the weather is becoming a bit too cold, windy and rainy. I guess I’ll just keep on watching your stuff, hehe.

#958

AH-HA!! finally back to the sculpt…

Anand - some very inspiring work here, more impressive as it is in 2D and 3D! I really like the way your shading is loose, yet still shows the form. Wish I could do that. I wonder what Michelangelo would make of ZBrush?

Thanks for visiting my thread. I have posted a montage of the eye references I am using over there.

I doubt he would like the wacom part, but i thinnk he would like the program.

This thread has soo much good work in it. I know you are doing it to further your skill but you are helping everyone out at the same time. There is alot to learn from images people post, especially yours.
