Oh! Finally after a long search you saw God, Thats a great news to hear… This is one great thought(s) you have shared here, quite inspring, you know what I mean… I always see him around… “Anbe Sivam”
Hey Anand!
Great nature sketches!
I used to live in the city for many years but since 8 years we have moved to the countryside and I would never go back to the city… never! You know, often, I didn’t even notice the clouds in the sky when I was living in the city… and I loooove clouds… they are my fetish heh!
Go into nature as often as you can my friend… it’s the best brainfood!
Take care,
Johan
Hi there Anand! Finally had the time this morning to check your sketchbook. Just got to say wow! I looked at your hand studies and must say they’re wonderful! Learning a lot by watching those! ![]()

Thanks, Sivan!!
Hey Johan!! True! very true!
Hi Cindy! Thanks a lot!
We’ve been sketching for an hour a day for the last couple of weeks at the studio… Here are some 1min sketches from the week before last…

WoW! very impressive head studies . . the perspective is well balanced. I like the last and second page specially. Nice poses in 1 minute sketches as well.
I don’t know when I will be able to post this kind of stuff  though I love life drawing
wow man! ur so fast…thanks for inspiring, im gonna try ur 1 hour a day drawing sessions from tomorrow
btw did u make them from ur imagination or live people?
HEY Anand…Really like that composition in the one with the big tree.
I didn’t notice at first the little figures under it, and the arial perspective going way off into the distance on the right side…NICEEEE…![]()
Would make a great painting…
GREAT head studies also…maybe add hand gestures to them…just a passing thought.
I also like the last batch of torso studies…nice mood captured in those…especally the top left one ![]()
ANYWAY, just enjoying your thread and work this morning…
TAKE CARE
Glenn
Hi Anand,
Wow, those 5 minute studies are sweet! That big tree is beautiful, and awesome cow gestures! I am actually going to the Biodome in Montreal today and tomorrow to do gesture sketches of penguins, lemurs, etc. I haven’t really done animal studies before so it will be challenging, but your cow inspires me.
I want to see more please!
Inspiring…you got most of the portraits.
Qucik sketches are also good…but looks incomplete. More than for you I want to repeat this to myself … Upesh said… your sketch judged on how you finish your Hand & Feets.
Hey Anand,
very nice headstudys. Impressive that you do them so fast. The 1 Minute gesture drawings are nice as well. I sometimes do 30 sec. but they don’t look nearerly that good I’m happy if I can recognise a human figure.
Hi Deepam! Thank you!
Hi Robin! Thanks a lot! Its all from life… we took turns posing at the studio.
Hey Glenn!! Thanks for the kind words and suggestions, as always!
Hey Wes!! thanks! can’t wait to see your zoo studies! :bounce:
Hi Kasana! Thanks! I will look out for the hands and feet in the coming sessions.
Hi Roman! Thanks a lot!
Thanks, Santhosh!
Thanks, Johan!
Thanks a lot, Chris!
here are some more 5minute sketches… from today and day-before-yesterday, I guess.
