Hi. I’m new here. I could draw pretty well from life all my life, but it’s been simply impossible for me to draw from my mind, so I gave it up. I picked up / got passionate about human form just this year (2007), so I’ve been studying anatomy a lot. I made a ton of sketches from my mind, but they’re too ugly / embarrassing to show. Instead, I figured I’ll show my studies done from reference. Is that allowed? Would it be better if I showed my sketches done without a reference? You all seem very skilled, so I would be happy to hear any comments you may give. Thanks.
