Hey Guys, I’m decideing to bandwagon this shit up.

Ahh al little about me then, I like this forum, I’m on it like everyday so I might aswell participate :D.

My name is Andrew Melnychuk-Oseen. I’m from Lethbridge Alberta. I am enrolled in the new media fine arts program. I am finishing up my program this april and will be pursueing an internship. (this is where u wish me luck and all that jazz :slight_smile: ) Hopefully I end up doing fantasy art but whatever. As long as I can draw.

I love all things art, game art especially, same with comics. Comics rule the haus. I enjoy drawing naked people as well. Shreddies in the morning. And a coffee/anything caffine when I draw. It really helps. I guess Drugs help me draw. :slight_smile: . And hip hop. Hip Hop rules.

I’m also a hardcore 3d artist. Love that stuff but I’m focusing on the traditional stuff first cause theres no point makeing something 3d if its not art. you know?

THese I did a while ago. Last summer I had the opportunity to paint for 23 days straight. 8 hours a day. SO this is how I progressed when I had the opportunity to practise. Now that I am in school I dont have that luxury anymore.

At my 19th I seem to pleatau These I posted a while ago.

So it took me under 200 hours before I could do 22.
Now that I’m in school I cant do that anymore. GAR!

SO I made this post to hopefully inspire some ppl that are struggling to advance their skills. You will advance in time. Just practise practise practise. and keep focused. ANd keep the prac up so u dont lose it like me. :frowning:

Aww, Andrew, I am sorry to hear that you don’t have as much time to paint as you’d like…don’t we all know that feeling. :smiley:

Even if you can’t paint as much, it might be nice if you can put in a bit of time on a weekly basis on the OFDWs. You may not be able to finish each one, but it will at least keep you going…the worst option is that you don’t do any at all, and lose the feeling for it ~ but ultimately, I think if you really enjoy something, you will naturally come back to it. :slight_smile:

Ah no worries of the intereupt this is a public thread. Thanks for the link rebecca, I will definatley hit that up. I have a couple things I could post I think.

Im tottaly gonna do those ODFW’s even if i paint just a lil bit it will help me a long. :slight_smile:
