Opportunities include expansions to the current popular first person multiplayer game as well as an all-new next generation Unreal 3.0 version of America’s Army. The America’s Army Public Applications Team, located in Emeryville, CA, is just minutes from Berkeley, San Francisco and San Jose. The studio is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and retail stores and offers a wide variety of housing choices and numerous public transportation options with three International Airports in proximity.
Senior QA:
The America’s Army Development Team is seeking organized individual with excellent communication skills with a comprehensive understanding of test cycles and processes. The ideal candidate has extensive prior experience in game development and has a keen understanding of how each development discipline operates and interacts. Self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate production issues and find effective solutions. The candidate must enjoy seeing a project from inception to completion and delivering games on time with the highest quality.
Job Duties:

[li]Perform testing on both new and existing game features/functionality
[/li][li]Verify and edit for clarity bug reports submitted by Beta testers
[/li][li]Regress bugs and verify fixes
[/li][li]Run build scripts and perform BVT testing
[/li][li]Maintain the test lab with the latest test versions of AA
[/li][li]Interact with our Beta tester community to help focus testing efforts
[/li][/ul]
Qualifications:
[ul]
[li]3+ years game test experience with shipped titles.
[/li][li]Experience writing and maintaining test cases.
[/li][li]Knowledge of general QA procedures & best practices.
[/li][li]Adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
[/li][li]Ability to multi task and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
[/li][li]Works well in a team environment.
[/li][li]Strong communication skills.
[/li][li]An avid gamer with a passion for creating great games. Detailed knowledge of AA or similar games a plus.
[/li][li]Experience with the Unreal engine helpful, but not required
