Now Hiring. The makers of America’s Army: Special Forces, is expanding its studio and looking to add highly talented, motivated game developers with a passion to create outstanding AAA products. Opportunities include expansions to the current popular first person multiplayer game as well as an all-new next generation Unreal 3.0 version of America’s Army. The America’s Army Public Applications Team, located in Emeryville, CA, is just minutes from Berkeley, San Francisco and San Jose. The studio is conveniently located near a variety of restaurants and retail stores and offers a wide variety of housing choices and numerous public transportation options with three International Airports in proximity.

[b]Associate Producer:[/b]

The America’s Army Development Team is seeking highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and project management abilities. The ideal candidate has extensive prior experience in game development and has a keen understanding of how each development discipline operates and interacts. Self-direction and follow-up skills are a must, as well as the ability to anticipate production issues and find effective solutions. The candidate must enjoy seeing a project from inception to completion and delivering games on time with the highest quality.



[u]Job Duties:[/u]

[ul]
[li]Liaises with different departments and external organizations to facilitate communication
[/li][li]Works with department leads to determine resources necessary for project development
[/li][li]Assists with coordination, tracking and managing the activities of personnel to ensure project tasks are completed on time
[/li][li]Contributes to a positive work environment and ensures project forward momentum
[/li][li]Assists the Senior Producer and other Team Leads with creative and organizational tasks as necessary
[/li][li]Other duties as may be assigned
[/li][li]Responsible for assistance in guiding the completion of the product development cycle including design, programming, graphics, continuity, music, motion capture and quality assurance.
[/li][li]Coordinate with QA Manager and QA department for product testing cycles.
[/li][li]Monitor individual and team progress, report project status to management on a regular basis.
[/li][li]Technical understanding of and ability to schedule assets of projects, ensuring top quality products on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications:

·[font=&quot]         [/font]3+ year’s experience in the game industry

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Must have shipped at least one title in a Producer role

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Ability to communicate effectively with programming, art and project leadership personnel

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Experience w/ the Unreal Engine (or comparable 3D game engine and development tools)

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Experience managing teams and delivering products on-time

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Knowledge of software development process, project management and performance management

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Proven experience managing schedules and employees to achieve desired results

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Experience with game development pipelines and potential bottlenecks

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Exceptional inter-personal, oral and written communication skills

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Unrelenting self-motivation and initiative

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Experience with online technologies, Battle.net, and multiplayer systems a plus

·[font=&quot]         [/font]An intense passion for games! 

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, risk assessment, problem solving, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Working knowledge of MS Office, MS Project and PowerPoint and other business applications

·[font=&quot]         [/font]Ability and willingness to travel
