AlLayer shader for Arnold

Hi,
I am using MtoA version 4.2.2.0 an I am having some problems with the “mix” in the alLayer shader. It seems like it ignores any texture information coming from a file node. If I set the debug to “mix” it shows only white. I checked the texture file, the values are correct. If I connect a checker or noise to the “mix” it works fine.I have tried to contact the team but it seems like the email address on the bitbucket website does no longer work.

So I hope somebody here can help me with this.

Look at the connections in the node editor. What’s the alpha in this texture you’re using?

Hey xsisupport, I know what you are trying to say and you were right. Connected the wrong way! Thanks for your help. Believe it or not, I have been sitting on this for hours…
