Alienware Game programming Comp

Interesting :hmm:

It seems not only does Alienware have a CGTALK contest going but they also have one for 3DGameMaker.

Some of you that are “new” to game development may want to try your hand at an easier langauge such as DarkBasic, just might be something you like… plus you could win a nice Alienware gaming PC to boot.

I have never coded in DarkBasic but the keyword there is basic so it shouldnt be hard and plus from what I can see…this GameMaker tool basically does most of the hardstuff for you…you just need to come up with a game.

Oh well…so much for actually knowing how to do something :annoyed:

I’ll assure you, if your gonna use the gamecreator pack you won’t make it. using DBpro or normal version you have more chance but you can’t learn it in less then 2 moths and make a succesfull game for the compo to.
