Alien planet/fortress/town sketch on paper

Hey guy’s, i decided i wanted something futuristic, so i did that:

Sorry about the low quality images but i don’t want you guys to look at the details, just to the basic composition and the ideia behind it.
I wanted, at first, to be an alien town not soo much diferent than ours, with an assassins creed like temple in the middle or something like that. But it turned out someting really futuristic and rectangle/triangle based architecture. I only got an ipod touch’s camera right now, so that’s the best images i got.
What are your thoughts about the architecture/composition/idea?
Don’t worry about lightning or stuff like that yet, i’m intending to do a digital painting on it, but i’m really worried about how complex the perspective might get… I had to change it a lot in the process, and i still feel like it is really wrong, mainly the left side wall.
I’m not too happy with the foreground either, i don’t know what to place there : (
But i’m quite happy with the fortress (main building) and i liked the ‘antennas’ or ‘towers’ on the background.
What i’m most unsure is about the perspective/foreground and vanishment point position, if you guys could give me feedback about that, awesome you.
Thanks!

Edit: I think i might do a greenish/blueish mood, mixed with some grey/rusted red steel parts. Something hostile maybe.

I know you guys are pros, so don’t mock me haha

I played around a little with your drawing: http://th07.deviantart.net/fs71/PRE/f/2012/218/1/9/future_city_by_bleke-d5a3ayt.png

There aren’t any real hints where the horizon is in the image, unless you count the road to the doorway. I get the feeling that the viewer is watching from the hills in the foreground, so the horizon should be higher than the door. I placed it at the green line.

Using the horizon and the width of the door, you can extrapolate how the road should look.

I don’t think a door fits the scale of the city, so I changed it to a tunnel for vehicle traffic.

The buildings looks cool by the way.

That tunnel is a neat idea actually…
I’m not sure if it is better for the viewer to be in the road level, or in the hills level. I guess te second option will make a better impact and would be more interesting, but then i will have to tweak some lines a bit and think about the perspective.
I will be taking a look at some builiding drawings to have some ideas…
Any ideas/comments on the foreground?
