He sounds like he’s speaking french… is he, or is that just jibberish. Either way, it’s awesome. I’d like to see a lower-compression version.

Yes !! it’s french…

That definetely made my day!!! It wouldn’t of been as good if i could understand it though. It sounded like a real alien! That is some impressive work!

Thisi s my fifth time watching it! Can’t stop laughing!

Wow, really great job - I had to watch it several time to stop laughing.

I didn’t see any flaws with the camera matching, and the only compositing issue that I see is a very dark patch one the hand when the alien first strikes out with the pencil. It looks like the shaddow is way too dark there.

#13

for lighting, did you use GI or normal lights?

I’m pretty new to Maya and compositing but you make it look easy. Did you have to match all of the digital camera’s movements to the real one? I expected to see the alien slide around in some shots but you kept him still, nice work. Only thing that bothers me is the animation of him swinging the pencil, watches it again it looks like there’s no follow through, but I just noticed that you have it hitting the hand, maybe just add some noise to the strike. The alien’s shoulder goes a little funny when he has his arm bent back, it’s not too noticable though. This is a fun interesting animation you’ve done, keep up the good work.
