great, thanks for the help. how’s this for no love though, photobucket is upgrading(only taking new members between 12-4 am mountain standard time(must be in salt lake city, utah), and imageshack’s server is hiding…that’s alright, my computers are still rendering anyways…

also, dene, are you incorporating a space elevator, we’re only 10 or 15 years away from being able to build a working one thanks to carbon nano-tubes. the real issue is security from terrorists…

yeh…but way more advanced…itll be like a vertical highway so you can just drive straight on and up to the space port in geo-stationary orbit and take a compression-way to mars or the orbital docks to get to extra-solar destinations.

there will be about 5 or 6 of these placed around the equator linked to an ‘orbital-highway’

Ok I think i have got the E5 Hydrocharge done, what do ya think?
I really like this one, I have given it a style so it looks like the H-cell was a retro design based on the eariler 22nd century. A bit like what the Chrysler company is doing now with its retro-look cars… :slight_smile:

think we’ll also use this one…we have 3 cars now!

yeh the big-rig…
some points

  1. needs to be very ‘blocky’ with few curves
  2. very deep wheels
  3. multi trailor (3 or 4)
  4. trailors should have 3 sets of wheels at the front and rear (for individual steering)

a bit like the Renault Magnum but with 2 axles at the front.

Zag: I will have a go at the Autho’s for the E5 Hydrocharge when i get a chance, and yes i did have a look at the students stuff that you sent us too. couldnt get far enough in to the site… lol but some pretty cool stuff there.

Here is the first draft if the big rig, I reference the truck site. Some nice truck designs there. I tried to come up with something more original. Am i on the right track?? :slight_smile:

hey mark…yeh youre on the right track…:thumbsup: VERY nice btw

here’s some thoughts for ya…

1.needs to be, and look taller (maybe make the wheels smaller?)
2.2 axles at the front and at least 2 at the rear (maybe 3?)

.needs to look…‘chunky’ / ‘solid’ / ‘blocky’ / Tall / imposing
.this ‘rig’ will most likely occupy two lanes (BIG Rig haha)
.this will also need to use the whole Mag-Lev thingie

i’ll get off my lazy arse and do some sketches soon. haha!

ooh…quick idea: how about all vehicles in my future be manufactured by the ‘E5 corporation’?..just an idea…instead of just a vehicle name…

gotta add details

for the 'ceph system’s sun. that gas cloud, is it thin enough that it would shimmer and sparkle as tiny bits reflect the light just right at the camera or is it more of a liquid refraction kind of thing?

BTW, nice truck mark, i would love to see the looks on people’s faces if i pulled one of those into the fuel island at the flyin’ J…
