I have a multi layer composition in after effects using mostly elements rendered in maya and I am getting a faint red line in certain parts of the matte edge- I have most of the layers set to normal in blending mode.
The main image element is a black figure with some red glowing elements on it–but when viewed separately the layer has no red edge–its only when 2 copies of the layer overlap or other elements are added. The more layers added, the thicker the red line becomes.
I imported the footage items straight-unmatted also
Any help appreciated.
Edit: I should have stuck this in the After Effects forum but didnt see it until too late.
ah fixed it–I had the interpret footage to pre-multiply with colour not straight unmatted.
