AE - FLV,H.264, Render Quality

#1

Hey, I have a ton of 515x303 animations that needs to be rendered out in good quality. Each of them composed as a TGA image sequence, and the image quality is good. The image size needs to be light, and whenever I render with FLV(and most other formats) in AE, it becomes rather blurry.

I’ve tried work around with baking out a high quality quicktime, and then exporting from quicktime. Which gives me a decent result, but this process is not optimal. Does anyone have experience with rendering out high quality FLV?

Cheers!

Hey there, I fiddled around with setting, and the problem I get with AE is that it has to resize the output 515x303 to 516x304. If I let it do this automatically, the quality turns out really blurry.

If I set it manually in the composition the quality is better still a bit of the original.
Anyone has any knowledge with AE to get around such problems?

Do you know of any other program that supports FLV, where you are not constrained to resizing if the size is “bad”?
