ok i was watching a tutorial done by splinegod
and it was the melting butter…how would i do that withan imported (poser) figure?
i would like to get the figure to fade into a shape like a bell curve and melt down into a circular puddle…kind like in the kid show alex mack.
also i am having trouble with the gradients editor…i was trying to make an object fade out by using a null and y axis…but for some reason that didn’t work…i was gonna use that to fade the figure and a morphed sphere to fade in…to get the bell curve effect…then have the sphere morph down into the puddle…thats the only way i could think of doing it but i am having trouble with the gradients to get it right.
so far i have the figure…then i made a half sphere in another layer…set value to get it flat…made a endomorph …then laborously selected points and moved them up into position around the figure in the background…then did bgconform to the sphere with the figure in background…so the sphere turned into the basic shape of the figure…so now in layout i need the sphere to fade out based on a null and the the sphere to fade in on with the null
then i could use morph mixer to do the rest…
anyway thats what i have done…if there is an easier way please do tell(short of modeling my own figure…i am not that good)
