Gyes is an effort of me customising blender to my needs . There are two tools inside it right now, RMG (random material generator) and RTG (random texture generator) .
So people have been asking “why i need randomisation when I aim for something specific” , well those two tools allow you to be as specific as you want and yet experiment with new values and settings. Lets face it even if you know exactly what kind of material or texture you want how to get there is not actually straightforward. It requires testing and more testing and then so more testing, which really is just randomization around some specific value ranges till you get it right. This is very time consuming as you need to go by hand through many diffirent parameter. RMG and RTG can achieve the same result in just 1/10th or even 1/1000th of the time it takes to do the same by hand , depending on the amount of parameters needed to change and test, because the randomisation works in an instant .
