Adding joint to skinned character

Hi there,

Is there a way of adding a joint to a skeleton hierarchy that has already been skinned?

I have a character which I have smooth bound and skin weighted (which took me forever) but ideally i need to put a joint in-between the ankle and toeBase - the heel.

Is there a way of doing that without having to detach the skin etc…?

Add a joint to your skeleton
With Skin -> Edit Smooth Skin -> Add Influence you can add the joint to the skincluster.
Set Default weight to 0, so the new joint gets no weights, its better to add them by hand.
