adding a glowing transparent sphere to live footage containing rippling water

Hi
A novice C4D user but learning rapidly.
Want to add a glowing 3d object to some 3d footage that contains a pool of rippling water.

Haven’t a clue as to how to proceed.

Can anyone suggest some tutorials that might help?

I will use After Effects to comp the 3d elements with the live footage.
