add edge equivalent?

looking for the equivalent of the add edge in lightwave tool - thought hoping for somethign more like the xsi version of this tool - does modo not have somethign similar? if it does where? if not well hope tehre is a script writer out there thats working on up as i think its a very important tool

  2. modo tools, mesh edit, second tool on list
  3. geometry -> slice -> edge

ah yeah thanks - dont know how i missed that one to be honest - shame its not upto xsi’s standard but at least it doesn’t fill the whole screen full of blue dots like lightwaves
