i didn’t really understand what’s the point in this feature since if you’re setting a keyframe, moving in the timeline and change the value of it’s property, it’s already adding a new keyframe automatically… so… what’s the difference?

It simply enforces animation on all properties that you change, regardless whether the stopwatch was active before or not.
