I read that is only applied to 7.x. Regardless if you threw out, as I read someone did there keys, there screwed anyhow.
Unless they have can pull up the information from an Avid database.

As I mentioned in my previous post, even so. What if as I read you don’t have your Key any longer, for proof ? That is fine and dandy that any version is able to upgrade but what if you don’t have any previous information for your current version ?

If you threw out your keys, don’t have a invoice as proof of sale and don’t exist in the moved over Avid>AD Database, well… than you’re stupid and out of luck.

Not to worry. We have the data to validate pre-Autodesk purchases. You will be required to provide some basic information such as company name and original purchase date, but we should be able to look it up.
