5.5 to 7 rig issues

Anyone out there have problems working with older version fbx files. If i import a fbx created in MB 5.5 to MB 7, all local joint orients reset to zero, Ive tried using the Use MB 5.5 check in control rig properties, and this gives me the results I dont want. I get major problems when referencing these files onto a character in Maya because of this reseting to zero.

Any help???

Hi,
I am using MB 6 and it comes with FBX Converter, does version 7 have that?
If it does it is worth give it a try.

Well the problem is I already have the fbx files… buy the original data was cleaned up and had post, then saved out of MB 5.5 so no matter what I do, the joint orients are always set to zero.

Ok. I was thinking of converting the 5.5 files with FBX Converter to newer version, but if they are screwed to begin with that won’t help you at all. Anssi.
