4R5 crashes

Hello,

Is anyone else experiencing frequent crashes in 4R5, particularly while trying to save the tool you’re working on? This is very frustrating as I keep losing the work I am attempting to save.
It also seems to just randomly crash (to the desktop) albeit not as often.

Any suggestions?

I got the same issue. I think its because of lack in RAM.
Solutions:

  1. upgrade your PC :stuck_out_tongue:
  2. save frequently and from time to time close ZBrush and open up it again (perhaps, accumulating undo history is crucial, so closing the program you clear it out)

Try upgrading to zb R46. Maybe they fixed something in there that stops the crashing but it does sound like a ram issues. Upgrade anyway the new features will blow your mind.
