4k res. for Clouds

[b]Hi,

I have a scene to create in which i have to add clouds, The only thing is that the resolution has to be around 4k by 1k (width & height), so would you guys suggest is vue would be a better option or Maya clouds and how much rendering time Vue would take to render clouds at that much resolution ?

All type of suggestions are welcomed.

I don’t know about maya clouds, but as long as the camera isn’t inside the clouds, Vue will render pretty fast…

Yeah the camera is not at all moving and even somewhat far from clouds. But yes the resolution is somewhat higher.
