Project Description:
VFX Work on a Low/Mid Budget Science-Fiction Comedy Television Series entering post-production.

This is for Remote/Off site work

Premise:
When two robbers, friends with a troubled history, break into a house they discover that the tenants are actually aliens in disguise as humans. The spear tip of an invasion of earth! But over the course of one night, the humans and aliens must work together to stop not just an invasion, but the destruction of the planet!

Short Term (1-4 month) or longer positions available, starting July 7th 2019

Positions needed:

Material/Texture Artist(s)

Job Description: Taking provided 3D Models both with and without UVW layouts and creating new textures and materials or modifying existing ones. A large quantity or reference photos and assets will be provided
Hard Surface and illuminated materials for both environments and robotic characters.

Must be familiar with Substance Painter and Photoshop, familiarity with VRay materials (for 3DsMax) is a plus.

DigiDouble Modeling/Textures/Materials Artist(s)

Job Description:
Creating realistic Digital Double models with textures of 5 characters. Including multiple outfits for 3 of the characters. Cloth, Hard Surface, Hair and Skin Materials/Modeling experience required. A large quantity or reference photos and assets will be provided, including rough photogrammetry.

Must be familiar with Maya and/or 3DsMax, ZBrush and/or Mudbox, Substance Painter and Photoshop, familiarity with VRay materials (for 3DsMax) is a plus. Any hair grooms will need to be done via 3DsMax Hair and Fur or solid mesh/card modeling/texturing. Alternative hair/groom solutions that are Max/Vray compatible can be discussed as well.

Lighting Artist(s)

Job Description:
Recreating accurate lighting from several existing locations and sets, including placement of lights, light intensity, and coloration. Accurate 3D models of the locations have already been created, along with HDRI image captures of light sources and spherical reference images and reference passes of practical elements within the spaces, to allow for more accurate lighting of the CGI elements to be inserted into the shots.

Must be familiar with Vray lighting in 3DsMax, HDRI/IBL creation and use.

Simulation Artist(s)

Creation of fire, energy, and water effects for various weapons and other technology based looks. May include both Look Development

Must be familiar with Pheonix FD, PFlow or tyFlow. Krakatoa for 3DsMax optional. Knowledge of AE Particular plugin is a plus.

Rigging/Skinning Artist(s)

Animators Familiar with mechanical/robotic rigs in 3DsMax. Driven both by bones/IK chains as well a slider controls.

Must be familiar with rigging/skinning in 3DsMax as well as Slider Control setups.
