3dsmax to zbrush

#1

Hi everyone,

I have been creating the base mesh for a creature in 3dsmax and I was looking for some advice on how much I need to model on this creature before importing it into zbrush.

I am pretty inexperienced with zbrush so I don’t know much about the workflow between it and 3dsmax. I wondering a lot about the teeth for my creature. This would require separate objects so should those just be creating within zbrush? How far can you go with sculpting the model in zbrush with respect to eventually getting it back into 3dsmax for rigging etc?

If someone could share their work flow with me, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

You can import your model as a subtool into ZBrush and add and sculpt what you need. You can have the teeth as separate parts, or as part of th main subtool.
