3DSMAX - Removing A Spline From A Line?

Hello All,

Quick question, in 3DSMax how do you remove a Spline from a Line, and place it in a new Line?

Select the segment from the line, select detach.
Select the line you want to attach the segment to.
Click attach, select the segment you want to attach.
