Hello there, i have really basic question, if i render the animation in 3ds max i have only avi format to choose. Can u advice me how to add more formats into the window? Like the H.286 mov etc?. Thank u

Hello, I don’t know if that is possible, but in any case, I recommend you to NEVER render a video directly from Max, you usually will render frames (as an image sequence) and then render that sequence in a compositing or video program. Specially if you have a heavy scene or long video, if Max stops working, you will lose all the video, whereas if you render frames, you can restart from where it stopped, or even correct small errors you found in a specific frame without having to render everything again. So my advice is, forget that you can render a video from Max, and start rendering image sequences.=)
