Hey, I’m pretty new to 3DS Max, But I’m trying to create an earth model for a project i’m working on and the mapping of the clouds has me frustrated. I set the cloud map as the diffuse, but then when I bring it down as the opacity map also, I lose a LOT of detail. All i’m doing is setting the black and white cloud map that I have in the diffuse, and then setting that same map as the opacity. I have struggled with this for about 2 days, tried everything i know how to do with no avail.
