3d vertex information to 2d transform information

Hi Everyone,

I am up against a barrier at the moment. Here is the problem:

I have an animated card (basic plane with a few vertices) in 3d. I need to get the 3d translation information of all the vertices, that I am viewing through a locked off camera, into 2d translation information.

So, in short I would like to convert the xzy position of a vertex in 3d space, into xy 2d translation information. Any Ideas? I would be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction.

I’m thinking a couple of ways. But without knowing where to apply the result, I can’t think of a way to help you. Care to explain a little more ?
