That’s pretty cool, though they really should try 9.5

9.5 is King imo, and gets even better combined with DPont’s plugins and HDinstance.

#3

I’m sure they’d love to use 9.5 too…shame it isn’t available for Mac

ROTFLMAO! This is a joke right?

Edit: Oh, voted by Mac users. Well, that explains a lot right there. One bad choice after another.

#5

Well, worse choices could be made…like choosing XSI, right?

#6

no the joke is that someone with a 1000 + posts would waste time and energy
posting something as childish as you did…

can we stick on Topic please

#7

Congrats Newtek

seriously, you need to digg into LW to find its power, I’ve found that there are TONS of cool advanced things I can do in LW that I can’t in Maya, and at a fraction of the price. Lots of credit should also go to DPont for writing those plugins and shaders. HDinstance and LWCad are additional plugins that can be concidered and blows away anything Maya is capable of.

Lightwave is building muscles these days, and if you haven’t noticed, well, look again.

Rendered in Lightwave,

that is a LW render, and if you take the time to look at other features in Lightwave (search in the forums, not the manual) then you will see LW showing Muscles.

I had a feeling this was gonna happen when this topic was started…sigh…The LW forums are so predictable…sometimes

#12

Well, not really, the other ones are ok,… there’s just something about CGtalk that makes bad neighbours come back to talk trash. Beats me… :curious:

#13

To all, please send me a PM, if someone does that again…

Anyway, congratz NT!
