3D Printing: Universal Scale Settings

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me out.

I need to export some 3D Models for 3D printing, and need to have them at a universal scale settings. Is that possible?

So to explain, if I were to make a model in 3DS Max scaled to exactly 20 inches, then exported as an STL or VRML, a 3D Print Studio could easily read it as 20 inches tall and print it exactly to scale.

The STL format includes real world size data.
